How to Opt Your Squarespace Website Out of AI Crawlers
There is a way to stop AI from scraping your Squarespace content. You might be worried about AI using your content to teach itself and this is a way to safeguard your work. Squarespace allows user to take control of their website’s privacy by blocking AI crawlers, but you have to actively opt your website out.
To turn this off, select Settings > Crawlers > Toggle off Artificial Intelligence Crawlers
It’s good to note that this new feature won’t retroactively remove content that was already scraped from your site, but it can prevent it from happening in the future.
It’s a quick task to do and one that’s super important for all website owners to be aware of in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
